Heartlands development update
12/17/2025: Our team is comprised of 3 members, one of which is currently in the hospital recovering from a brain injury. My sister works with us on VFX, level design, and animations for the game. She had a brain injury (stroke-like) on Halloween, and is currently doing really well at her rehab facility. This has obviously delayed our production of Arena greatly. It’s been quite difficult for me, especially to get back to work. Currently, a lot of my work is learning based as it’s mostly programming work happening right now doing bug fixes for the pre alpha. We are actually looking for pre alpha testers right now, if interested, let me know. Anyway, I am using the time now to hone my skills, as a lot of this is still very new to me. Next, I’ll be learning more about materials, substrate, narrative, and more programming stuff in the future.
